Riverford Organic Farmers

I recommend ordering a small weekly meat and veg box and then topping up with eggs, dairy, seasonal fruit and other extras depending on what you need. Buying a box works out cheaper than buying the same organic ingredients in a supermarket and keeps you on-track with consuming seasonal ingredients. If you find it difficult to plan meals you could also try their recipe boxes.

Green Pasture Farms

This is where I buy my pork lard and beef dripping; their animals (as the name suggests) are 100% pasture fed. I also add marrow bones, pork skin (for delicious home-made pork scratchings) and chicken skins to my order. Once you are on their mailing list they will occasionally email you with fantastic meat box offers. Make the most of these – the savings are huge!

Gazegill Organics

I recommend this company for bulk delivery of raw milk and raw cream from 100% organic and grass fed cows. Their milk, as well as being significantly easier to digest than pasteurised milk, is really lovely.

Star Child

Starchild send a fantastic range of herbs, herbal tea mixes, essential oils and incense by post. The site is worth a browse too, lots of goodies to tempt you!
